Kakia Konstantinaki is an artist based in Athens working with time-based media and moving image. She studied architecture at the Technical University of Crete and holds an MA in Communication Design from Central Saint Martins. She is an Onassis AiR fellow.
Working across artistic and commercial contexts, Konstantinaki uses 3D software to construct complex CGI environments that resemble augmented reality, blurring the boundaries between physical space and computer-generated imagery. Her work spans independent film and large-scale commissioned visual projects, including immersive installations, live performances, and public projections. She has collaborated with institutions and brands such as Onassis Stegi, Lex, and H&M.
Through non-linear narratives in her films, she explores themes of technology, simulation, intelligence, ecology, memory, time, and consciousness, examining how these forces shape how we behave and relate and ultimately how we construction our reality. Her work has been presented internationally in exhibitions, festivals, and public contexts.
