A human intelligence in the form of a brain that is dying to dominate a body? STORY In a human-free world, brains wake up from cryogenic sleep and are in search of new bodies. Due to the lack of human bodies, they start possessing inanimate objects. After dominating everything, they notice that their fixation with control, led them to create monstrous entities. In a moment of irony, the brains realise that to defend themselves against the monsters, they must in effect destroy themselves. Their own intelligence is the monster and must be terminated. CONCEPTWhat would it mean if we used our intelligence differently, “ and did not treat everything around us as a prop to our own drama” , as J. Bridle notes. The story is a remark on the domination of human intelligence, reason and the patriarchy. The metaphor of the brain, whose relentless drive to dominate, reflects humanity's willingness to destroy even its own self in order to exist. The film, though not typical horror, draws from the genre's exploration of the liminal and in-between. “ Cosmic horror writers are less interested in shocking you than with the boundary between the natural and the supernatural” - E. Thacker It seeks to explore the threshold, the hybrid, the never reaching condition, the endless drive to reach the desired object, that always leads to another liminality that never satisfies. A monster that the human never seems to be willing to accept.“ The monster always represents the destruction of boundaries and so we need monsters and we need to recognize and celebrate our monstrosities” - J. Halberstam. The story is told through fragmented, non-linear forms, reproducing feminine structures of narratives, challenging traditional climactic, linear ones. In these types of structure, the journey and the process itself are important. FORMAT A live-performed CGI short film that attempts to interweave notions of liminality, feminine narratives, human intelligence, and horror theory. This project attempts to experiment on film-making and immersive cinematic experiences. During the performance, the audience enters a space surrounded by three large projection panels. One screen displays real-time visuals captured by a live camera, which is passed around for the audience to film themselves. These live images are manipulated on the spot using a custom-trained AI model, transforming the participants into strange, evolving forms. A live theremin performance accompanies and interacts with these visuals, adding an eerie soundscape. The other two screens play pre-rendered CGI sequences - constructed from 3D scans, video, and digital environments - that unfold fragments of the story. A voice-over sounds through the piece, guiding the audience through the narrative. Together, the live and pre-recorded elements create a layered, immersive cinematic experience. * Research for this project was conducted during my residency at Onassis AiR, in Athens. It was performed live during the Open Days of the residency programme. Forgetting is vital too. This audiovisual narrative is unravelled inside a constantly changing landscape of memories and thoughts. Through an intimate psychogeography, the artist explores the interconnection of themes like memory, time and the mind. Using the metaphor of love and having in mind Karen Barad’s text ‘TransMaterialities: Trans*/Matter/Realities and Queer Political Imaginings’, Konstantinaki looks into these themes through the lens of possibilities and quantum physics. Trapped between past and future, she strives to escape from haunting recollections and failing future scenarios, while the present remains constantly elusive. I was asked to create two types of visuals. One short video that would be projected onto a 20x3 meters long wall. And another 6 looping square animations that would be playing simultanuesly on each side of a levitated LED cube. All the visuals are thought through the lens of the blue hour effect that was the main concept of the event, set by the H&amp;M team. Screenshots, photographs, and videos transformed through image-to-video AI into moving image. The structure recalls the Surrealist practice of the exquisite corpse: each image triggering the next in a chain of associative transformations, no single frame fully aware of what came before or after. Central to the work is humour: not scripted, but hidden within the random generative behaviour of AI models, surfacing in unexpected conjunctions and weird transitions, and the system’s particular gift for the unintended. The approach was ad hoc. No storyboard, no curatorial logic applied to the source material, only a personal archive handed over to a system indifferent to a specific narrative. Presented within ‘Total Screen Time’, a one night group exhibition exploring the mobile phone as site of artistic practice. Daydreaming is a concept borrowed from the psychology theory,&nbsp;Prosseswork, where it is widely used to set the person into a state of dreaming while they are awake, in order to understand hidden aspects of themselves. During the course of daydreaming, the person starts off with a name, or a face, or a feeling and from there they depart to a journey of unraveling their non-linear and seemingly irrational thoughts. This process is said to offer to the person an intuitive insight into their selves, that otherwise they would be unable to gain by operating on their usual conscious level. Daydreaming allows for a different level of consciousness and awareness of ourselves. The Daydreaming project is based on the above principles and it is materialised within the 3D environment,&nbsp; blending 3D oddities with digital photography. Most commonly, starting off from a photograph, I set myself in a non-conscious thinking mode and I start making, employing almost solely my intuition. A process quite similar to the automatic writing and ‘the stream of consciousness’, but this time within the&nbsp;digital media contex.&nbsp; Daydreaming is an ongoing long-term project, which works
